Skate Amherstburg expresses thanks for the support of recent ice show

Skate Amherstburg would like to take this chance to thank everyone who volunteered their time and helped to make our 45th Annual Ice Show a great success! A production of this size is no small task and we could not have done it without each one of our volunteers support.

Family members from our CanSkate through STARSkate programs as well as the wonderful staff from our TD branch helped in setting up, tearing down, ticket sales, dressing room supervision,, music playing, announcing and the list goes on and on! With so many jobs to be done to ensure that the show runs smoothly we are so thankful to have such amazing people on whom we can rely.

Skate Amherstburg is expressing thanks for the support of the April 3 "Rock of Ages" ice show at the Libro Centre.

Skate Amherstburg is expressing thanks for the support of the April 3 “Rock of Ages” ice show at the Libro Centre.

Our ice show, “Rock of Ages,” was held on April 3 at the Libro Centre. The performing skaters ranged from tiny CanSkate participants who are just starting out to our Adult Synchro Team who have honed their skills and are a real treat to watch perform. Each one of our skaters have accomplished so much this year, including many badges passed, tests passed, and medals won. Our ice show is a great way to showcase all of the efforts each and every skater has made this year to improve their skating skills.

A big thank you to all those who attended the show and supported the club as well as the skaters; they are lucky to have so many fans! We are very proud of all of our ice show participants who skated beautifully and thoroughly entertained our audience. Our skaters rocked “Rock of Ages”! We look forward to putting together another great show next year!
