Santa arrives in town!

The Amherstburg Santa Claus Parade was held last Saturday night. It was presented by the Windsor Parade Corporation and sponsored by a number of local businesses and organizations, the presenting sponsor being the Town of Amherstburg. The Windsor Parade Corporation reported this was one of the biggest Amherstburg parades to date, featuring eight bands, three horse units and packed with entertainment and local businesses. There was also a “Fan Zone” in front of Rob & Tina’s No Frills. The River Town Times combined with G.L. Heritage Brewing Co., CKRT Border City Radio and Sobeys on a float this year. The Windsor Santa Claus Parade is Dec. 7 at 6 p.m. while the Essex BIA Santa Claus Parade is Dec. 14 at 6:30 p.m.
