After reading the River Town Times and Windsor Star, I think the next election is the only way to get a true feeling of the residents of Amherstburg. A 549 response online survey is not a true representation of the residents, only the few trying to save it. I do like open streets but not in the current Friday 3 p.m. until Sunday night for 14 weeks! How about Saturday at noon till Sunday night every other weekend?This gives people Friday afternoon and Saturday morning to do their business especially if they need handicap parking. Please put this on the next ballot and let the people decide not council.
