Five free "Jane's Walk" tours planned for April 28





A series of "Jane's Walk" events are planned for April 28 in Amherstburg. All walks are free and last about an hour or less.


Walks include:


-Historic Buildings in the Burg - 9:30am - led by Meg Reiner of the Marsh Collection. Start/end location: River Bookshop (67 Richmond St.)



-Look Again! Outside Amherstburg - 10:30am - led by Sophie Hinch of Art Windsor/Essex. Start/end location: Park House Museum (214 Dalhousie St.)



-Relying on the River: Amherstburg's Marine History - 1pm - led by Kara Folkeringa and Meg Reiner of the Marsh Collection. Start/end location: Near the Boblo ferry dock (340 Dalhousie St.)



-Amherstburg Old Burial Grounds - 2:15pm - led by Robert Honor of the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario Windsor/Essex Branch. Start/end location: Christ Anglican Church (317 Ramsay St.)



-It Happened in Amherstburg: Black History in Amherstburg - 3:30pm - led by Mary-Katherine Whelan & Dr. Lorene Bridgen-Lennie of the Amherstburg Freedom Museum. Start/end location: Amherstburg Freedom Museum (277 King St.)
