Parking along a residential street near a new apartment building was a concern brought to town council at its most recent meeting.
Councillor Diane Pouget mentioned about “ongoing problems” along Brunner Ave. in relation to parking and made a request to meet with the developers of the new River’s Edge Apartments. She thanked manager of licensing and enforcement Bill Tetler and manager of roads and fleet Eric Chamberlain who “acted right away” on a situation where cars were parked close to Sandwich St. North.
Pouget said one spot will be removed near the highway. A number of dog walkers are in the area and she said there have been complaints about dogs doing their business on properties.
CAO Valerie Critchley said she would be happy to reach out to the developer or building manager on a “good neighbour” education initiative.
