Missing – one alligator.

Well, sort of.

Jobin alligator“It was the most unique thing I ever found,” said Dan. “It looked so real.”

Dan said the only alteration he did with it was add teeth but other than that, he said it looked like an alligator’s head.

“It fit on the shed really nicely,” he said.

Just over a week ago, Dan said he and Marilyn were cleaning up in the yard when they noticed it was gone.

“It hung there all winter,” he said.

Dan said the only way people could have seen it is from the lake but “it’s pretty hard to see it from there.”

The Jobins are suspicious that neighborhood kids may have snuck into the yard but no suspects have been pinpointed. They have word out through their neighborhood hoping the person or people who swiped it will return it.

“It’s not a loss of money,” said Dan. “It’s a loss of something so unique.”

Dan said he likely won’t ever find a piece of driftwood that unique again and is hopeful that if someone sees it, they will return it or contact him about it.
