No charges in County Road 20 crash

 

A Pontiac Montana van went into a ditch Thursday morning but Amherstburg police say there will be no charges. A Harrow man was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Amherstburg police say there will no charges after a single-vehicle rollover on Howard Ave. Thursday morning.

A 56-year-old Harrow man was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries as a result of the accident. Police say the driver was coming around the curve near Howard Ave., hit the shoulder and over-corrected the vehicle when trying to stay on the road.

The vehicle, a 2008 Pontiac Montana, ended up on its roof in a ditch. Amherstburg fire and Essex-Windsor EMS also attended the scene.

The driver was the lone occupant of the vehicle, police add.
