Laura DiBiase’s Friday morning is one that she will remember for the rest of her life.

On Friday, March 2, DiBiase received a phone call around 7:50 a.m. from a representative from the national morning show Live! with Kelly instructing her that she would be the contestant for the show’s Daily Dial Trivia.

“We chatted for a few minutes and they took some information about me and told me that she would call me back close to 9 a.m. when they show started,” said DiBiase.

DiBiase, who has been watching the show for roughly 15 years, said this was the first time she had been contacted by the show.

When the show called her back around 9 a.m., she stayed on hold until Kelly Ripa came on line to talk to her.

Laura DiBiase won a trip to Tanque Varde Ranch in Tuscon, Arizona by answering a question on Live with Kelly’s “Live Daily Dail Trivia” Friday morning.

Ripa, along with co-host Dan Abrams chatted with DiBiase for a few minutes before the hosts spun a prize wheel. It landed on a trip to Tanque Varde Ranch in Tucson, Arizona, which would be hers, if she answered the question correctly.

The question was: Which of the originally Monkey was originally offered the role of the Fonz on Happy Days?

DiBiase answered with the correct answer, Mickey Dolenz.

“I knew the answer because I watch the show everyday,” said DiBiase.

The mother of three said she the trivia questions are always something to do with the previous day’s show and to make sure she was prepared, DiBiase watched Thursday’s show that morning.

“I was hoping that it would be an easy question and it was,” she joked. “It’s all so surreal.”

DiBiase will be taking her husband Marco to the Tanque Varde Ranch.

“We go on a family vacation every year but this will be the first vacation where it’s just the two of us in nearly 12 years,” said DiBiase.

DiBiase mentioned when the call came to her cell phone, her landline was ringing off the hook and her neighbours were knocking on the door to find out what was going on.

“It was a crazy hour,” she laughed.

DiBiase celebrated her prize by going to Friday nights Detroit Red Wings game against the Minnesota Wild at Joe Louis Arena.

“Hopefully we can celebrate all this with a Red Wings victory,” she said.
