Closure of Meloche Road/Lowes Side Road intersection starts Aug. 28

 

The intersection of Lowes Side Road and Meloche Road will be closed to all traffic commencing Aug. 28 as part of the ongoing Meloche Road project.

The town announced that this latest closure is expected to last one week. Detour routes will be posted.

Work on the overall Meloche Road reconstruction project will be ongoing through to November 2017, town officials add.

The town reminds residents that during construction traffic disruptions may occur and some delays may be experienced. Please slow down and obey all traffic signage.

The intersection of Simcoe St. and Meloche Road re-opened Aug. 11 after a two-week closure that was originally planned as a four-week closure.
