A barn fire at Sprucewood Shores Estate Winery saw a lot of damage to the structure but no injuries.

Fire chief Randy Sinasac said firefighters were on scene for about four hours to put out Saturday’s blaze, which has the official cause listed as “undetermined.” Sinasac said there was “extensive damage” to the barn but the barn was unoccupied.

“It’s a workshop and storage (area),” the chief stated.

Sinasac said a rough estimate of damage is $100,000. The fire was accidental, he added.
