An 89-year-old Amherstburg resident arrested and charged with uttering threats, after allegedly threatening to attend town hall with a gun.
According to police, town hall employee received a phone call Tuesday, Sept. 3 from a man complaining about the town running a new storm drain through his property. During the conversation, police state the man became upset and allegedly threatened the town employee that he was going to come to town hall with a gun.
The accused was arrested and charged with one count of utter threats. He is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 16.
